Any thoughts on Rhett Holland? Big solid D man who played in Okotoks this year. Think he is ranked around the 150 mark.

Canucks mandate is to revamp the "D".

Anyone think Zach O'Brien with acadie Bathurst would be a good mid-late round draft pick. The local newspaper here in my area said the canucks are interested in him. From what I've seen from him he could be a steal of a pick for whatever team drafts him

Would a Kassian+1st+prospect be okay with Vancouver fans? I think Kane is the exact type of guy that Gillis should be targeting. He's already able to play top minutes and be that power forward/enforcer (lite).

If Schneider is the one moving then it could be CS prospect and 1 st . If we were able to somehow pick up doan also UFA

I really like that 3rd line. AV threw that line together for a third period this last season and it had instant chemistry and looked really good. Having doan with the sedins would be a lethal line + that second line we would become alot tougher of a team to play against.

Kassian on the 2nd is funny, no why AV would give a kid that much ice time, AV needs to develop him first (develop = watch from press box or bench while his faves make mistakes with no punishment).

If Kassian had two linemates as good as Kes and Kane ,he would learn the crash and bang game very quick.

AV tried Booth with the Sedins .It was not pretty.

I would take Doan and Kane in my top six before Higgins and Booth.

Higgins ended up on the third line last year. He has enough checking in his game that he wouldn't hurt us on the 4 th line.

YOu would need to decide who you want Kane or Booth? You could do a Booth Kes Kane 2nd and slip Kassian on the 4 th.

Each line would have at least one tough guy .Yes I did just say Lapierre is a tough guy

You could .Manny Volpatti Kassian Higgins depending on what the situation calls for can roll out three of them to give players a rest. or mix and match as you and DCT suggest.
